Job Summary

Raising of Form M for Importation of goods
Reconciliation of bank statement to cash book
Preparation of monthly report to the MD as reqards: total monthly sales, outstanding debtors and creditors
Monthly stock taking and report

Minimum of 3 years working experience preferably within the Telecommunication or ICT industry
Completed NYSC
Minimum of a Degree in Accounting or related fields
Knowledge of working with accounting software – SAGE

Our client is a multinational FMCG company with their Africa HQ in Ghana.
They currently have an opening for a Tax Consultant in Accra.
The ideal candidate will:
Apply knowledge of tax compliance and tax accounting principles to oversee and prepare all company tax compliance reports, while reporting budgetary concerns and taxation effects of business decisions to company managers.
Assist with engagement workflow management and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.
Assist with preparation of client billings and account reconciliations.
Assist with drafting new proposal for new and existing clients.
Coordinating with in-house tax preparations team within the company and with the clients’ tax department.
Assist with various state and local state tax consulting projects including sales & use and excise tax overpayment reviews, tax implications of sales and purchase transactions, audit defense services, nexus planning, and voluntary disclosures
3-5 years of experience with an Advisory or Tax firm (Preferably with the big 4)
BA/BS degree in Accounting
Collecting, organizing and preparing tax documents and returns.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office suite.
Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (individual, partnerships, and multi-state and corporate).
Research state and local tax legislation and Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline work flow.
Performing a detailed technical review of state and local tax returns on select engagements, preparing tax computations, work papers and entries

Surveillance System
Install the surveillance systems throughout the company and maintain proper maintenance
Continuous Improvement
Seek for new technological advancements and developments in IT software and hardware, through online research, reading, communicating with IT hardware and software suppliers, and attending IT related trainings, to ensure the company is up-to-date to facilitate its work.
OND in Computer Science
2 years experience in technical information
Technical and sales knowledge is required.
Minimum managerial and communication skills.
