Billing/AR Officer: Victoria Island, Lagos

Purpose

Administer the billing and collection activities for the company to ensure customers pay on time and in full. Reporting of company sales and revenue information, and maintain the integrity of the customer billing system.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manager invoicing activities and maintenance of customer billing software
Approval of Site Activity Requests
Daily posting of customer payments to the billing software system
Daily monitoring of accounts and customer payment status to ensure accurate activation and re-activation of services
Follow up on customer billing queries and changes to service plans, upgrades/downgrades
Generation of weekly and monthly sales/revenue reports for management and financial reporting
Adhere to TL9000 requirements, review of all tasks and responsibilities to ensure documented procedures are followed and/or updated, with recommendations on improvements
Education and/or Professional Qualification
University graduate in Business or Accounting discipline.

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

2 plus years experience in a billing and collections role for an international company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MS Office applications to an intermediate or advanced level
Ability to respond to customer calls and emails in an effective and timely manner
Industry and market knowledge of credit and collection practices

Data Centre Engineer: Victoria Island, Lagos

Purpose

The staff is to ensure the proper running and maintenance of the Data Center.
To ensure that all necessary policies and procedures affecting the Data Center are generated and to ensure the enforcement and tracking of such policies and procedures and activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Restrict and monitor access control into the Datacenter.
Ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of Datacenter based on a regular schedule.
Procure and maintain Environmental Control Units in the Datacenter.
Keep proper Inventory control of the Datacenter equipment
Monitor, record and escalate Equipment performance in the Data Center.
Maintain ownership of Change Management request for the Data Center.
Password control for equipment in the Data Center.
Backup policy for the equipment in the Data Center.
Disaster Recovery Plan for the Data Center.
Labelling of equipment in the Datacenter according to the approved naming convention.
Create Data Center Policies
Update, Maintain, Enforce & Control Data Center policies.
Essential Skills/Knowledge

Troubleshooting Skills

Experience with:

Network monitoring activities and applications.

IT Support Technician: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

To support and maintain internal IT architecture. This position is also responsible for administering desktops support as well as all company servers, printers, phones, and other peripherals.
Responsibilities
Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipments and related services
Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
Provide network–related user issues as escalated
Assist in network project design and implementations
Maintain and support company’s LAN/WAN environment
Daily maintenance and problem resolution
Maintain necessary documentation on both network issues and projects assigned
Maintain and troubleshoot Apple servers (Open Directory) for a middle-sized environment (less than 200 computers)
Set-up of computers for staffs
Troubleshoot application and hardware issues on both user and server levels
Aid in maintaining that all servers/computers/peripherals are in good working condition
Perform servers and other computer asset maintenance (regular and ad-hocs)
Maintain hardware and software updated inventory
Resolve all application (emails, applications, etc) related issues
Participate in designing and implementation of various systems/application projects as requested by the client

Requirements/Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in IP network maintenance and
Must be a team-player
Certification on Apple environment is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Skills Required:

Understanding of wires and wireless basic networking
Ability to use an Apple Macintosh system
Ability to manage and support 1st and 2nd level issues on an Apple Macintosh system & Microsoft Windows System
Basic understanding of Directory Services on both Windows (Active Directory) and Macintosh (Open Directory)
Understanding of hardware configuration of both Apple and Windows devices is highly desirable
Intermediate understanding of DNS, DHCP, Filesharing (with or without SAMBA)
Ability to support basic applications like MS Office and others
Advance knowledge in routing (EIGRP/OSPF) and switching (VLAN’s, STP, etc)
Advanced knowledge in SNMP and other network management protocols/systems
Advanced knowledge in QoS principles and use of different QoS appliances
Able to identify network issues, propose and implement actions to resolve the problem
Experienced and knowledgeable on different wireless technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) design, implementation, optimization and troubleshooting
Certifications (CCNP/CCDA/CCIP) is a plus.
